I’ve been meaning to post about this one for a while. I feel pretty bad for forgetting to post about the awesome Daphne Oram OraMIX competition that closed a few weeks ago, but this one I will not allow to slip by! Ninja Tune artist Emika has opened a competition for remixes and reworks of her tune “3 Hours”.
Emika has posted six stems from the original track, inviting the entrants to be as creative as possible taking “as much or little from the original track as you wish”. It sounds like a pretty interesting proposition! But with this much freedom come just as many challenges.
The creator of the winning “3 Hours” rework will receive:
- Signed Emika vinyl + CDs + stickers
- SoundCloud Pro account (worth €250)
- Meet + greet with Emika
- Exposure on Emika’s online networks
